finally got a reply from ed after 3 sent msgs and a week of sitting online in anticipation. grizzly bear is currently touring with st vincent overseas and found this to be the perfect opportunity. was the equivalent of handing my dude ed a piece of paper with "do you like me yes or no" written on it to pass to that hot ass shorty in the class that i been feeling since the first day of high skool but had too much anxiety to speak to on a personal level...just want to walk her home and carry her school books. this news is disheartening to me but i feel glad to know where i stand. i feel that i'm making steady progress. can't help but wish i'd been a fly on the wall for that conversation...wondering if there were any good that came out of it. "he at least means well", or "he would probably be a good provider...", wondering if st vincent sees the good in me that ed sees. i have a lot to offer the world and have a nice family
felt so glad that ed is talking to me again that i did a cover of his veckatimest smash single...two weeks. would be interested in which version between ed's and my own that st vincent prefers. hope to move to brooklyn with st vincent and grizzly bear when they come home. would love to live with 4 other men and sort through st vincent's unmentionables. i don't belong with my grandma anymore i belong with my friends. i miss my friends
